Moving Company in Emeryville
Free, No-Obligation Estimate
Live-work lofts and high-rise condos are our bread and butter here. We handle the freight elevators, loading docks, and COIs so your Emeryville move clears the building rules.
What an Emeryville, CA Move Really Takes
Emeryville is compact and vertical, live-work lofts, mid-rise condos, and towers off Powell Street and Bay Street. Most buildings run on freight-elevator bookings and Certificates of Insurance, so we line those up first and bring the crew sized to move through a dock, not just a front door.
What shapes an Emeryville move
- Loft and condo buildings require a reserved freight elevator and a filed COI before move day
- Bay Street and Powell Street sit right off I-80, where curb and dock space is limited and timed
- High ceilings and tight loft stairs mean bulky pieces need a careful hoist or disassembly

These guys are great. We had to move a lot of stuff in one day and they got the job done. Their movers are friendly and professional. When things got tricky, they were able to adapt and still get our stuff moved quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you handle Emeryville high-rise and loft buildings?
Yes. We reserve freight elevators, file building Certificates of Insurance, and time the loading dock so your Emeryville loft or condo move meets every building rule. Billed hourly with a written estimate.
Are you a real licensed mover?
Yes. Movers Anonymous is a licensed, insured California household-goods carrier, and your belongings ride with our own crew the whole way, never a broker. Ask about our authority or coverage anytime and we will lay out your valuation choices before you commit.
Can you pack for me?
As much or as little as you want. Go hands-off with a full pack, or have us box just the kitchen, the art, and the electronics. We bring real materials and label by room so unpacking is painless.
When does the clock start?
Billing begins when we get to work at your door, and once the first hour is in we switch to per-minute, so you are never bumped up to the next full hour. We spell out how drive time works and your crew’s rate before we begin.
Is there anything you can’t take?
Hazardous items stay behind, propane, paint, chemicals, ammo, along with perishables, houseplants, and pets. Give us a heads-up on anything oversized or high-value so the right crew and equipment show up.
Do you move pianos, safes, and heirlooms?
Yes, and by people trained for it. Uprights, grands, gun safes, antiques, and framed art get the correct board, straps, and padding, plus a built-to-fit crate when the piece earns one.
Can I move or cancel my date?
Of course. Give us 48 hours and your deposit comes back in full. The complete cancellation terms are written into your booking, so nothing is left to guesswork.
